Peter Meusburger

Dear Family Meusburger, Through a friend and colleague at the Institut fuer Theoretische Physik, Philosophenweg 16, I learnt about the sad news of the passing away of Prof. Peter Meusburger. I offer you my deepest condolences for your loss. I was shocked because I was looking forward to meeting him to discuss our joint essay on whcih we have been working since 2012, once or twice every semester. Recently after coming here on 12th December, I wrote him two emails. There was no answer. I started thinking that he might be unwell. But today my colleague here Prof. Hans Guenter Dosch mentioned that he had read the sad news of passing away of Prof. Peter Meusburger recently but asked me to find out more if it is true. I went to GOOGLE and found several obituaries. I am terribly shocked by his death. Only last Summer Semester we met at the Geographisches Institut and had a nice discussion. There was no indication that he was unwell. Then I took leave whie going back to Delhi. I offer my prayer: May his soul rest in peace.
