Still have many fond memories, my dear friend. Taken too soon.

I am shocked to hear of the death of Peter. We first met in Udine, Italy in1975 and I had the pleasure of his company again when he visited Scotland the following year. Our paths never crossed again but I followed his career through his technical papers. Having retired from Strathclyde University in Glasgow some 13 years ago I have lost touch almost completely, but thanks to the internet I was still able to occasionally find out what he was doing. My deepest sympathies I send to his family at this very difficult time and please take some comfort in knowing there are so many people outside of Austria who will be touched by this tragic news.
